Day One was chosen due to its creativity in reaching kids, dedication and commitment from its staff and long standing commitment to collaboration with partner agencies across the state. The award is also a testament to Day One’s counselors who show incredible wisdom, patience and strength in working with a sometimes challenging clientele. Day One has remained steadfast as a voice of hope for Maine youth.
